Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens
Description
Walter Sisulu offer a great garden route walk and a hiking trail for the advanced hikers with enough climbs to get your legs burning. The walk up the mountain has beautiful protea trees along each side of the trail.
The Garden and nature reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife with about 240 bird species recorded on site. A breeding pair of Verreaux’s Eagles nest on the cliffs near the waterfall.
The Gardens is also the perfect place to go for a picnic with the whole family, you are allowed to bring in your own camping chairs.

Pensioner: R65 (Free entry on Tuesdays)
Student: R40 (valid student card required)
Scholar: R20 (grades 1 – 12)
Children under 6 yrs: Free
Entrance tickets can be purchased online at webtickets; at any Pick ‘n Pay Money Market or by card payment at the gate.
The garden is open every day from 08h00 to 17h00.
