Description

There are 3 trails to choose from the 6km trail you walk to a point and turn around and go back to the start, still has amazing views. The 8km & 10km has a few climbs with amazing views of the harites dam.

You do book time slots that you want to start so you cant be late. There is a briefing before the hike just to explain the route and about their brilliant green bag initiative. The green bag is voluntary to help them clean their trails as you hike.  Their trails are pretty clean, but still get the odd paper or bottle. At the end of the hike you hand the bag in at the restaurant just up the road and you can get a free coffee. Who doesn’t love a free coffee?

There are 3 different trails to chose from:

  • Green  6km (easy)
  • Blue 8km (Intermediate)
  • Purple  10km (Intermediate)

The Trail is well marked with arrows and colours.

Entrance is R60 per adult and R30 per child.

Booking is essential and must be done before going mainly open weekends but special week day booking can be done.

There is signal and to get the map you scan a QR code and the map comes up on your google map. This is a brilliant way as it was easy to use and if we feel you lost or not sure if you going right the map helps, what would we do without technology…
We do suggest if you have a power bank to take it incase your phone goes flat.
